A popular Ontario County restaurant is getting a fresh start after a devastating car crash in April left its original location severely damaged.

Jack’s Kitchen announced via Facebook that it will be relocating to the former Molly Moochers building on West Main Street in Shortsville. The move comes after an April 14 incident in which a Clyde woman crashed her vehicle into the restaurant, creating a massive hole in the structure. The driver was charged with DWI.

Owners say they hope to reopen in the new location by July 1.
