ITT Goulds and United Steelworkers Raise $5k for Wounded Warriors

Six people hold a $5,000 check from ITT and United Steelworkers for Wounded Warriors in Action, with a WWIA banner.
Representatives from ITT Goulds and United Steelworkers Local 1218 present a $5,000 check to the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation.

A five-THOUSAND dollar check was presented to the Finger Lakes Chapter of the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation by leaders of ITT Goulds and United Steelworkers 3298 in Seneca Falls.

The money donated was raised through Memorial Day t-shirt sales at ITT.

Goulds Pumps matched the amount raised and United Steelworkers contributed an additional 5 hundred dollars.

“This donation is a token of appreciation for those who have served or are currently serving to protect our freedoms,” said Lisa Fitzgerald, Business Strategy Manager at ITT Goulds Pumps. “As an employer of many veterans, we’re thankful for those who have come home while honoring those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.”

Jeffrey Rasbeck, USW 3298 Union President says, “USW local 3298 was proud to partner with ITT to give back to those that stand up for the freedom we enjoy every day.”
