“It’s My Party” -STOPS- in Waterloo

The band "It's My Party" performs for an audience in Waterloo, New York, as part of a local event.

In the 1970’s the corner of West Wright Avenue and Virginia Street was where all the cool kids hung out. “The Stop” was a favorite spot where for 50-cents you could grab “half a ham” (sub sandwich) and sign your name graffiti-style on the wall.

Today “The Stop” is gone, and it’s a village park.

Thursday night, the Rochester group “It’s My Party”, took Waterloo residents back to another time with their girl group
sounds.
