It’s Memorial Day In Waterloo

It’s Memorial Day in the village known as the birthplace of the national holiday.

Waterloo commemorates the holiday on the traditional date May 30th.

The events today begin at 9 this morning with Military Services in three cemeteries. The National Memorial Day Museum is open from Noon to 5pm. The Memorial Day Parade begins at 6pm.  The Memorial Day Ceremonies in LaFayette Park start and 6:30pm.

New York State Commander of the Sons of the American Legion-William Clancy-is the featured speaker.
