Investigators Seek Cause of Fire at Seneca Falls Apartment Complex

Firefighters and police respond to a fire at an apartment complex in Seneca Falls, New York, as investigators seek the cause of the blaze.

On Sunday afternoon,  Seneca County 911 Center received a report of a fire at Park Place Apartments on West Bayard Street in Seneca Falls.

Responding quickly, the Seneca Falls Police and Fire Departments, along with Waterloo, Fayette, Geneva Fire Departments, and North Seneca Ambulance, found smoke and flames coming from the front window. All residents had safely evacuated, and firefighters swiftly extinguished the blaze.

There were no injuries among residents or responders.

The cause is under investigation, but foul play is not suspected.
