A house fire on State Route 245 in the Town of Gorham was quickly contained to the first floor on Saturday.
Fire departments from Rushville, Middlesex, Benton, and Potter responded to the blaze at 4074 State Route 245 and worked together to extinguish the fire. Ontario County Fire Investigators later determined the cause of the fire was accidental. No injuries were reported.
Middlesex Ambulance provided EMS standby coverage during the incident.
