Some Finger Lakes residents will join others from across the country are set to hit the streets Saturday in a coordinated day of protest against President Donald Trump and tech billionaire Elon Musk. Organizers say the demonstrations, dubbed “Hands Off 2025,” aim to push back against what they claim are efforts by President Trump and Musk to “consolidate power and influence ahead of the 2025 political season.”
Locally, rallies are planned in several Finger Lakes communities, including Canandaigua, Hector, Ithaca, Ovid, Seneca Falls, and Victor.
