There is an update on the Geneva YMCA’s Building What Matters Campaign.
Mary Bakogiannis with the YMCA was a guest on FLX Morning. She said they’ve nearly reached their $5.2 million dollar goal.
“We are going to be breaking ground here in actuality, actual dirt ground, very very soon,” said Bakogiannis. “We have just $150,000 of the $5.2 million left to raise. so we couldn’t be in a better position to have this thing move forward.”
Last month, the city planning board approved the project to add 10,000 sq ft as well as interior improvements.
