The Town of Geneva is working on its Hazard Mitigation Plan to address flooding and other potential problems.
Town Supervisor Mark Venuti was a guest on FLX Morning where he explained the process. First, the municipality identifies what hazards it faces, such as flooding, and what areas are at risk. A schedule is then put together to determine who is responsible for mitigating said hazards.
Eventually, every municipality in the county will have a hazard mitigation plan.
