Updates have been made to how the Town of Geneva handles parking for short-term rentals.

Speaking on FLX Morning, Town Supervisor Mark Venuti explained the change to their regulations.

“I think it’s within 200ft of your property, if you have actual legal control over other space, we’ll let you count that and be able to use it for your short-term rental.”

Short-term rental property regulations require vehicle parking that isn’t on a lawn or the street. Some properties lease space from the railroad for additional parking, especially along the lake.
