The Geneva City Council tonight will consider a resolution to censure Ward 2 Councilor Bill Pealer, Jr.

The resolution comes after the June Council meeting which drew a large crowd upset over Pealer’s social media posts that they say were damaging to the LGBTQ plus community.

Pealer has not offered any apologies for his Twitter posts, which he said were mischaracterized and taken out of context.

Tonight’s meeting begins at 7pm and has been moved to Jordan Hall at Cornell AgriTech.
