13 homes were evacuated in Ontario County Wednesday afternoon following a gas line break.
A piece of construction equipment struck a NYSEG gas line on Oak Tree Drive in Hopewell at around 2:30. Hopewell firefighters evacuated the homes and the intersection of Oak Tree and Crimson King roads for approximately two hours while repairs were made.
No injuries were reported.
