Four Finger Lakes Rite Aid Stores to Close on Friday

Several Finger Lakes Rite Aid stores will close at the end of the week after the pharmacy chain started Chapter 11 proceedings.

Stores on Elm Street in Penn Yan, Hamilton Street in Geneva, North Main Street and Eastern Boulevard in Canandaigua, and on South Main Street in Newark will close on Friday.

According to Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act notices filed with the State Department of Labor, a total of 52 employees will be impacted by the four closures.
