Fatal Motorcycle Accident In Geneva

An Ontario County man is dead after a his motorcycle crashed into another on State Route 14 in Geneva Saturday afternoon.

74-year-old Ronald Verschage of Farmington was driving his motorcycle near Armstrong Road when he ran into the back of a motorcycle driven by 62-year-old Donna Armstrong of Webster. Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies say Armstrong had slowed down to turn onto Armstong Road.

Verschage was ejected from his motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. Armstong was treated at Geneva General Hospital for minor injuries.

State Route 14 was closed for about 3-hours as the accident was investigated. Police say alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor.
