Driver Killed in Seneca Falls Accident

A person was killed after being involved in a one-car accident just south of the entrance to the Cayuga Lake State Park in Seneca Falls.

When first responders arrived at the scene on Route 89 just after five Wednesday morning, they found a car in the ditch. The driver of the car was the only person involved and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released.

The investigation remains open and anyone with any information can contact the Seneca Falls Police Department at 315-568-4850.

The Seneca Falls Police Department was assisted at the scene by EMTs from North Seneca Ambulance, the Seneca Falls Fire Department, and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
