A two vehicle crash shut down part of County Road 5 in the town of Seneca in Ontario County for several hours Tuesday. The Sheriff’s Department says a tractor-trailer driven by Ryan Szalay of Rochester was trying to pass a farm tractor, without realizing the tractor was making a left onto Leet Road. Szalay was taken to Strong Hospital in Rochester for treatment of serious arm injuries and was cited for unsafe passing. County Road 5 was closed between Routes 245 and 5 & 20.
