Despite the fact that the deadline to apply has come and gone, Seneca County is still accepting applications for its manager position.

After returning in 2018 following the resignation of John Sheppard, Mitch Rowe reprised his role as county manager but is hoping to leave the post by the end of the year.

The Finger Lakes Times reported this week the county had received over a dozen applications but will allow the window to apply to remain open until a new manager is chosen.
