A Rochester woman was taken to Geneva General Hospital for chest and stomach injuries after the Toyota Corolla she was driving was involved in a collision with a tractor-trailer Friday morning in Ontario County.
Jessica Hernandez was heading east on State Route 318 when her vehicle veered out of its lane and into the path of an eastbound utility tractor-trailer, according to the Sheriff’s Department. The two vehicles collided after Hernandez crossed into oncoming traffic.
Hernandez was taken to Geneva General Hospital by Phelps Ambulance and was ticketed for failure to keep right.
The Phelps Fire Department responded to the scene.
