CCE of Seneca County Seeking Volunteers to Track Hemlock Woolly Adelgid

Hemlock needles show signs of infestation by the invasive Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA), as documented by the NYSDEC.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County is looking for volunteer to help track the spread of Hemlock Woolly Adelgid.

The group is hosting a training session for those who would like to help survey the invasive species. Participants will learn how to identify and report the adelgid.

The course will be held from 12:00-2:00p on the 29th at the Ravine Loop Trail at Picnic Area Road in Burdett.
