Castle Street Closure in Geneva for Utility Work Starting Monday

A 'ROAD CLOSED' sign indicates a temporary closure on a road, often used for construction or maintenance projects.

The City of Geneva will begin removing abandoned gas mains under Castle Street starting Monday. The work will take place between Brook Street and Maxwell Avenue.

During construction hours, Castle Street will be closed to eastbound and westbound through-traffic in that area. Drivers are advised to follow posted detour routes. Parking may also be limited overnight and during work hours.

The project is expected to last about one week, but schedules may change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.

City officials thank residents for their patience during this essential utility work.
