Canandaigua’s Annual Tree Planting is Friday

For the 31st straight year, the city of Canandaigua will be celebrating Arbor Day with a ceremonial tree planting later this month.

According to City Manager John Goodwin, the April 28th planting of a Honey Locust Tree on the City Pier will take place at 1 o’clock.

City staff, the city Tree Advisory Board and representatives of the City Council will be on hand and residents are also invited to attend.
