The Canandaigua Police Department says it has resumed all parking enforcement activities in the Downtown area.

Timed parking enforcement was previously suspended while posted signage was being changed to accommodate new parking regulations in the Downtown area. The transition is now complete. Police ask residents and visitors to pay attention and park their vehicles in compliance with the new parking signage as it will be strictly enforced.

Though on-street parking on South Main Street is limited to 1 1/2 hours, the municipal parking lots now extend parking time limits on many more parking spaces for longer visits.
