At this week’s Town Board meeting, the Town of Canandaigua recognized Jeff Winner for an impressive 50 years of dedicated service at Onanda Park.

Jeff began working at Onanda Park in 1975, back when it was a YWCA camp, and has continued to serve as caretaker since the Town acquired the park in 1989.

Over five decades, his commitment, knowledge, and hard work have helped preserve one of the community’s most cherished places. Thanks to Jeff, generations of families have been able to enjoy the park’s trails, cabins, shoreline, and natural beauty.
