Attendees gather at a local event, likely celebrating or discussing the Geneva Mayor's primary race results.

Geneva Democrats threw their support behind the endorsed candidate for mayor.

Jan Regan is challenging Incumbent Democratic Mayor Steve Valentino.  Regan scored a big primary win.  The vote count was 716-to-277.

Greeting supporters after the polls closed, Regan says it on now to the general election in November.

The primary win means Regan will be on the Democratic line on November’s ballot.  Valentino has been endorsed by Geneva Republicans and Conservatives and will run on those lines.
