Bicyclist Killed in Waterloo Collision

A woman was killed Monday morning after being struck by two vehicles while riding her bicycle in the town of Waterloo.

According to New York State Police, troopers from the Waterloo barracks were called to Hecker Road around 7:25 a.m. for a reported motor vehicle versus bicycle collision.

Investigators say a 61-year-old female bicyclist was traveling eastbound when she was hit by two vehicles that were also headed east. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say both drivers stayed at the scene and have been cooperating with the investigation. Police also confirmed there are no signs of impairment.

The crash remains under investigation.
