$1M in State Grants to Support New Newark Hotel

An Empire State Development grant worth $1 million will go towards the construction of a new hotel and conference center in the village of Newark.

Chrisanntha will acquire a vacant parcel to construct and operate the Newark Canal Front Hotel and Conference Center as a full-service hotel with an attached conference and banquet center. A parking lot will also be constructed to be shared with a new municipal building.

The funding comes from Empire State Development grants through Round XII of the Regional Economic Development Council Initiative.
