The first distribution of monies raised for the Ovid Fire Relief Fund is complete.
According to organizers, approximately $170,000 of the more than $200,000 raised so far was given out to 63 individuals. The identities of the recipients and the amount of money they received will not be publicly disclosed.
Funds will continue to be raised with the next distribution set for July.
