Weedsport Superintendent Announces Retirement

Weedsport Central School District’s Superintendent has announced his retirement.

In a letter posted on the district’s website, Shaun O’Connor announced he will retire on January 1, 2024.  He has been the district’s superintendent for the last 18 years.

In the same post, School Board President Coleen Borza said he provided “excellent leadership during both prosperous and challenging times.”

O’Connor began his career with the district in 1989 as a 1st-grade teacher
