Weedsport is launching a new way to honor previous high school graduates.
The Weedsport Central School District Board of Education has established its Graduates of Distinction honor for adults who graduated from Weedsport and have been exemplary citizens in their communities, professions, and careers. Recipients can be either alive or deceased but must have graduated at least ten years ago.
Recipients will be permanently honored by the district.
Applications are due by March 1.
