Auburn Police released the following statement:
“Washington Street is back open for normal traffic. The investigation is still active and ongoing. Any update will be given at a later time.”

The Auburn Police Department issued this statement Sunday evening:
“The The Auburn Police Department wishes all unnecessary traffic to avoid the area of Washington St near West St and Wall St. At the moment there is an active crime scene. The public is not in danger. ”
