Auburn residents will soon have a chance to weigh in on the city’s proposed budget and a proposed tax levy increase.

A public hearing will be held at Thursday’s City Council meeting on the City Manager’s Proposed Fiscal Year 2025-26 city budget. Council is expected to adopt the budget at its June 12 meeting.

A second public hearing on Thursday will also let residents weigh in on the proposed Local Law #1 of 2025, authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit imposed by state law.

The City Council meeting will begin at 5:00p at City Hall.

During his most recent appearance on FlX Morning, City Clerk Chuck Mason discussed both the budget and the proposed law. You can listen to the interview below.
