Unity House of Cayuga County has added to its Board of Directors.
Whitney Kummerow has joined the nonprofit’s board. She is living in Tennessee and is currently a partner at Hancock Estabrook, LLP where she is an expert in labor and employment law.
“This sounds like what I’ve been waiting for,” Kummerow said of joining the board. “Helping people with disabilities live fuller lives – that’s something I believe in.”
She recently completed her term on the Food Bank of Central New York’s board.
Unity House assists those with mental, developmental, and substance abuse disorders in seven area counties.
