This Thursday marks the start of an annual event to provide those in need throughout Cayuga County with hygiene items.

Julisa Stone with United Way spoke with Finger Lakes News Radio about the Sixth Annual Countywide Personal Care Drive.

“Community members are encouraged to donate hygiene items like toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwash, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, hygiene items in general, and tissues,” Stone said.

This year’s drive runs until October 10th.

A list of participating locations can be found on United Way’s website.
