As Cayuga County continues transitioning to a post pandemic world, what challenges are residents facing? United Way Vice President Renee Jensen says that certain needs have come to the forefront post COVID.

Speaking on FLX Morning, Jensen said “the needs have always been there but they have been exasperated. Things have certainly become more of an urgent need and an emergency. Childcare is certainly one and I think the healthcare system as well – mental health especially behavioral and children’s. So all those needs have been here but they’ve been exasperated and are in greater need now.”

To help combat these needs, United Way of Cayuga County is adding new programs and partner agencies for this funding year.
