An upcoming ribbon cutting will officially open the Village of Unions Springs’ new Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant kayak launch.

The New York Department of State’s Local Waterfront Revitalization Program provided $63,045 for the project which represents one of the few ADA-compliant options along the 87-mile Blueway Trail around Cayuga Lake.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 10:30a on Saturday, September 21, at Frontenac Park in the village.
