One Cayuga County village is launching a new winter tradition.
Union Springs has announced it will hold its first Christmas light contest this winter. Open to all village residents and local businesses, registrations will open on Thursday.
Residents will be able to vote using an online form once all entries are received.
The village added that more details on registration, voting, and prizes will be released soon on its Facebook page.
