The Cayuga County Tourism Office has launched a new resource to help highlight accessible attractions within the county.

Tour Cayuga has partnered with Wheel the World to highlight locations and attractions that are accessible to people regardless of physical ability. On the tourism office’s website, locations that have been verified as accessible will now display a Destination Verified badge, allowing people planning to come to the county to more easily plan their vacations.

For example, at the Sterling Nature Center, Wheel the World highlights the center’s step-free entrance, smooth flooring, accessible common bathroom, and accessible parking.
