Tomatofest Returns Saturday

Attendees enjoy the Auburn TomatoFest Festival, a local community event held on a sunny day in downtown Auburn, New York.

This Saturday marks Cayuga County’s 38th Tomatofest.

Taking place in downtown Auburn, the annual event supports ten food pantries within the county.

New activities for this year’s edition of the family-friendly festival include boat rides of Owasco Lake, courtesy of the Owasco Watershed Lake Association, and a revamped living history tour, showcasing historic sites such as the Seward House and Case Research Lab.

The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office will also face off against local non-profit, APE Scare and Care Inc, to see who can collect the most food in a drivethru canned food drive competition.

Tomatofest runs from11:00a-7:00p.
