A 15-year-old is in critical condition after being struck by a car while bicycling in Auburn on Saturday evening.
The accident occurred around 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Street and Perrine Street. According to Auburn Police, the car had stopped before the collision, and the victim, wearing headphones, rode in front of it. The teen was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
The driver was unharmed, and no tickets were issued.
