Southern Cayuga School Superintendent to Retire in June

After thirteen years as Superintendent, one local school leader has announced he will be retiring at the end of the school year.

Southern Cayuga Central School District Superintendent Patrick Jensen’s last day will be June 30th. In an email to staff, Jensen said he has spent 30 years in education and has decided it is time to pursue a new path.

The district’s Board of Education accepted Jensen’s resignation at its meeting last week.
