The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is looking to recruit more members to its custody division.

To that end, the sheriff’s office will hold an open house from 5:00-7:00p on Monday, May 19 at the training building located at 7445 County House Road, Auburn.

Attendees can tour the facilities and have a chance to speak with staff about deputy sheriff careers in the custody division. Human Resources staff will also be on hand to help prospective candidates register for the upcoming Online Training and Experience Questionnaire Exam, which will be available on June 1.

The application deadline for the exam is May 20.
