One local law enforcement agency is conducting an internal investigation after some off-duty officers were involved in a bar fight.
The Citizen is reporting the fight involved off-duty officers with the Auburn Police Department and a customer at a Genesee Street bar who said he refused to move for one of the officers when asked to. The verbal altercation then turned physical after the officer shoved the customer and the customer responded with a punch. Police were called to the bar and no criminal charges were filed.
Auburn Police tell the Citizen they expect their investigation to take several more weeks to complete.
