Registration Open for Hazardous Waste Recycling

A collection of used spray paint cans, often considered hazardous waste, are ready for recycling.

Registration is now open for Cayuga County’s annual Hazardous Waste Recycling Event.

The partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension helps residents properly dispose of dangerous household items such as pool chemicals, pesticides, and cleaning products.

The free event runs from 9-noon on October 21st.

When you register, you’ll be given the drop-off location.

Registration is required and can be done at Cornell Cooperative’s website or by calling 315-255-1183 ext 2876.
