Do you know someone making a difference in Cayuga or Onondaga County? If so, State Senator Rachel May wants you to send them her way.

Senator May’s office is accepting nominations for people, businesses, and nonprofits to receive awards for their contributions to their communities throughout 2024.

“We give awards to businesses that are making a difference in their communities,” May said on FLX Morning. “We give awards to people who have saved lives; we give awards for big anniversaries, if your organization is turning 25 or 50 years old. We’d love to make a proclamation about that.”

Nominations can be made by emailing [email protected] or by calling 315-478-8745.
