Auburn residents will have a chance to learn more about the future opening of the Harriet Tubman National Historical Park’s Thompson Memorial AME Zion Church on Parker Street scheduled to open later this summer.

There will be two parts to the meeting, set for Tuesday June 13.

From 4:00-6:00p at City Hall, you’ll be able to meet with park staff and learn more about the project.

At 7:00p, National Park Service representatives will make a public presentation to the city’s Historic Resources Review Board to give an overview of the site’s preservation and a timeline of what’s left to complete. The presentation will also be at City Hall.
