Public Hearing Thurs on CDBG Plans

Auburn residents can make their voices heard Thursday on the city’s proposed Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) plans.

A public hearing will be held during the city’s regularly scheduled city council meeting regarding the CDBG Program Proposed 2025-2029 Consolidated Planning Strategy and the 2025-2026 CDBG program Year Annual Action Plan. The meeting will take place at 5:00p at City Hall.

The city will hold a public hearing at 5 o’clock at city hall on the proposed 2025-2029 Consolidated Planning Strategy and the 2025-2026 CDBG program Year Annual Action Plan. CDBG funding comes from the Department of Housing and Urban Development and is designed to assist low to moderate-income city residents and areas.

The city anticipates receiving approximately $855, 000 in CDBG Entitlement funding for the 2025 program year.
