Public Hearing Set for Proposed Auburn Occupancy Tax

A public hearing will be held later this month, which will help pave the way for the city of Auburn to become the 75th municipality in New York to implement a hotel occupancy tax.  City Clerk Chuck Mason said the public hearing is required to put the tax into the City Code so it can launch in July

 

The public hearing will take place at the City Council’s June 26th meeting.
