Nonprofits can now apply for funding from the United Way of Cayuga County.

United Way has opened its applications for selected agencies to receive financial support with funding allocated monthly from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027. Speaking on FLX Morning with Ted Baker, Executive Director Kathryn Dennis said the money will directly benefit the Cayuga County community.

In order to apply, the agency has to be a nonprofit, a registered 501c3, serving Cayuga County residents. So, that means the agency can be physically located in Cayuga County or headquartered elsewhere but serve Cayuga County residents because all funding stays local.”

Applications are due February 21.

Application information can be found here.
