The Moravia Central School District is seeking the public’s input as it searches for its next superintendent.

The District Board of Education has begun the process of selecting its next superintendent. To help identify the qualities, strengths, and priorities an ideal superintendent should possess, the board has launched a survey to seek input from district staff, families, and community members.

The survey will be available until November 6 and can be found here.

Interim Superintendent Thomas Turck will continue serving in his role through the 2025-26 school year, allowing the board to conduct a thorough search.

Additionally, a letter to district residents indicated that a second survey is expected to be launched around December 1, and that periodic updates will be provided to the Board of Education, with the next update expected on November 12 at the board’s regularly scheduled meeting.
