Man Taken to Hospital after Striking Utility Pole in Auburn

One person had to be taken to the hospital after crashing into a utility pole in Auburn, Wednesday morning.

The Citizen reports the man was pulled out of his vehicle by two bystanders after crashing in front of Lasca’s on Grant Ave just before 8:30a. He was then taken to Upstate University Hospital by Auburn City Ambulance.

The vehicle was heavily damaged and the pole needed to be replaced.
